Velvet Rope Vacations, the brainchild of longtime friends and seasoned travel professionals Crystal Clark, Jamai Samuels and Nakita Tyson marks a new chapter in First Class Travel Services.  The company’s team of saavy professionals offers more than 45-years of combined experience in planning unique, high end travel for some of the most illustrius names in business, sports, diplomacy and politics.

CRYSTAL CLARK

Born in San Francisco, California, Crystal began her career in travel in 1995 with United Airlines.  She attended Georgia State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Major in Marketing.  Concurrently, she pursued certifications in Hospitality Operations and Trade Show & Event Planning with GSU’s Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality.  The breadth of her experience in the travel industry includes corporate, leisure and incentive travel consultation, international ticket consolidation and agency management.

Through employment with small and nationally recognized travel companies, a performing arts theater and internships at a major record label, a television station and in other service oriented positions, Crystal acquired skills easily transferable to a variety of industries.  However, it was her sincere appreciation for and interest in different cultures, love for travel, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for unrivaled customer service that led to the creation of the Velvet Rope brand.

Crystal strives for commitment to excellence in business and in her personal life.  She is an active member at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Buckhead and offers her creativity and event planning skills to the church’s Wedding Guild as a volunteer Wedding Coordinator.  She is the founder and President of a successful Atlanta-based Marketing & Transaction Coordination firm, Real Estate Support Services whose clients include Keller Williams Realty Atlanta North, the Association of Georgia Real Estate Exchangors (AGREE) and other real estate agents from a number of national brokerages.  Crystal donates her time and expertise to a number of charities and this year, received an endorsement by and inclusion in Cambridge’s Who’s Who Registry among Executive & Professional Women.  In addition to her professional and charitable contributions, she is socially active in the Atlanta community and a loving mother to an 11-year old daughter, 3-year old Dutch bunny and 1-year old Shi Tzu.
