As part of our 2009 “Committed to a Cause Campaign, the owners of Velvet Rope Vacations searched arduously for organizations that supported various causes to designate as the beneficiaries of its fundraising efforts.  We felt it was important to find ways to use our personal connections in the community and passion for travel to give back to those in need and/or contribute towards finding cures for diseases that have claimed the lives of loved ones.

We have identified the following four organizations whose existence heavily relies on private and corporate donations and as our designated charities, we plan to be an instrumental resource, committed to their cause:

Angel Flight - A group of volunteer pilots who donate their time and personal aircraft to fly patients to distant medical facilities, deliver supplies to disaster areas and reunite families during desperate times. 

KW Cares - Supports fellow Keller Williams’ associates across North America facing financial hardship due to major emergencies.  It has truly become the heart of the Keller Williams Realty’s culture in action – finding and serving the higher purposes of business through charitable giving in the market centers and communities where KW associates live and work. 

Partnership Against Domestic Violence -  Provides professional, compassionate, and empowering support to battered women and their children in metro Atlanta.  The organization offers safety & shelter for battered women and their children; helps restore power, self-sufficiency and control to domestic violence survivors; and educates the public on the dynamics of domestic violence.

VRV will host various initiatives throughout the metro area designed to help raise funds and awareness while providing Atlantans with a local extension of their luxurious travel services.  The scale of these events will include silent auctions, themed soirees, group cruises, travel club events and more.
